I’ve shared a lot of audio lately, but I’m not letting that stop me from sharing one more little track that I know will have a positive impact. One Sunday soon I’ll get back to talking about art and design history, but this newsletter is an authentic reflection of what is interesting to me and where I am on any given Sunday evening. This week, I am taking chilly walks and hot baths while listening to soothing sounds. So here we are. Thank you for joining me!
Jonathan Adams creates sound therapy music in Atlanta, Georgia under the moniker Sonic Yogi. A former sufferer of acute anxiety, he came to sound therapy needing it himself. Here’s his TedX talk about the physical and emotional effects of sound. He speaks scientifically, mystically, and humorously, which I appreciate.
The final track on his 2020 album Be the Love You Seek is a guided chakra meditation. I find this focused body scan meditation both deeply relaxing and activating of my inner knowing. All that in under 8 minutes! Give it a try before you fall asleep tonight.
Feeling good is how we’re supposed to feel. As the maestro of your experience, how will you feel good this week?
Until next week,
Elizabeth
