Warmer weather and half-vaccinated parents have got me feeling good. I hope you’re also feeling a glimmer of hope. To mark what feels like the beginning of the end of a dark chapter, I’m delivering unto you a zhuzh’d version of a playlist I made for a coworker about a month ago. She asked for music to get her through the last bit of winter. I named the playlist “Trick Your Brain Into Feeling Good.” I’ve re-named it for y’all, because I don’t think we need to trick our brains into feeling good. We can find something to feel good about. The light is at the end of the tunnel.
So find your thing, then take that feeling over to this playlist and have yourself a little shimmy.
I’ll be thinking about being barefoot on a dance floor with my mom again.
Until next time,
Elizabeth
