I am home with my parents this week, so I am going to keep this note short. I put together some music for you. The songs are not thematically autumnal (though I think one does reference the season), theyβre simply what Iβve been listening toβsounds that will define my autumn. Iβd love it if we shared some of the same chapter-defining sounds.
The playlist starts out with an under-two-minute instrumental by Gia Margaret that just sets my soul to peace. I feel a little unclenching when it starts, and by the end, Iβm loosey goosey. Youβll need to be loosey goosey for the next few groovier tracks. The middle is a little more rock, a little more emotional. The end is very peaceful, with lots of soft voices and instrumentals.
Happy fall, yβall, with love from Columbia, South Carolina.
Until next week,
Elizabeth
